For each GAW, topics are chosen that are relevant to current analytical problems in genetic epidemiology, and sets of real or computer-simulated data are distributed to investigators worldwide. Results of analyses are discussed and compared at meetings held in even-numbered years.
Planning for GAW18 is now underway! Scheduled for October 14-17, 2012, GAW18 will meet at The Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, WA on the Columbia River Gorge. Details about the meeting are forthcoming and will be posted as they become available.
Data preparation for GAW18 is near completion, with a goal of distributing the data by the second week of May. Click here for more details.
